This policy explains what personal information Peover Landscapes Ltd ("we", "us") collects through this website, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We are the data controller for that information.

What we collect

When you complete the enquiry form we collect the details you choose to give us: your name, email address, and optionally your phone number, postcode, the service you are interested in, an approximate budget, any photographs you attach, and the content of your message.

Our web server also keeps standard technical logs, which may include your IP address, browser type and the pages you visited. These are used for security and diagnostics.

Why we collect it

We use your details for one purpose: to respond to your enquiry and, if you go ahead, to carry out the work you have asked us to do. Our lawful basis for this is legitimate interests — specifically, responding to someone who has contacted us asking for a quote.

We will not add you to a marketing list, and we will not sell or share your details with third parties for their own marketing.

Who processes it

Enquiry emails are delivered using Brevo, an email service provider, which processes the contents of your message in order to deliver it to us. Our website is hosted on our own servers. Both act only on our instructions.

Cookies

This site sets a small number of cookies. A session cookie is required to keep the enquiry form secure against cross-site request forgery — the site cannot work without it. A second cookie records whether you accepted or declined optional cookies, so we do not ask you again.

If you accept optional cookies we may use analytics to understand which pages are useful. You can change your mind at any time by clearing this site's cookies in your browser.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept for as long as we may reasonably need them — typically up to two years for enquiries that do not become projects, and for the duration of our legal and tax obligations where work was carried out.

Your rights

You have the right to ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, and to object to our processing of it. To do any of these, contact us at peoverlandscapes@outlook.com and we will respond within one month.

If you are not satisfied with our response you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
